OBJECTIVE
We are well
aware that innovation and related strategies shape
economies in critical ways. In the U.S., in
particular, innovation lead growth has been
fundamental to country’s wealth. Apart from the
developed world developing world has also been
engaged in catching up with this race. There are
many issues related to the developing world such as
the patent law, cluster development and financing
small and medium size enterprises which present a
challenge for these countries. Much has been said
about the developed world and it is time to
understand the micro and macro issues of innovation
and growth at the developing country scale. Against
this background the main purpose of the workshop is
to understand the fundamental issues of innovation
and entrepreneurship in the developing world from a
theoretical, empirical and political perspective.
